Hope you had a wonderful 4th of July weekend this past weekend. This month statistics for the DC metro market are no surprise. We continue to see a strong sellers market across the region. Just like last month, this month’s data is very strong and shows that we only have less than two months supply in every one of our areas. Prices continue to be at a steady to high level compared to their list price. When a property is in excellent condition and is priced correctly, it gets multiple offers over list. This could be said regardless of the market, but this is especially true in today’s market, and just the data from last month shows this. Montgomery county still continues to be the strongest market in the DC metro area when comparing Maryland and DC together, followed closely by Frederick and Prince Georges County’s and finally with Washington DC trailing the four counties we report on.
